2023 Season: Open May – October, 2023

First opened for limited use in 2018 Cottonwood Cove is the tiny park with the bright future. Come and relax in this beautiful, and quiet environment. We are surrounded by mountains and near a River in a wooded setting. Our RV sites are shaded and grassy with spacious level pull-thrus and a nice back in site up against the edge of the loop. Sites & amenities will be added each season so check back each year to see what’s new!

Pets are allowed as long as they are not a restricted breed and they are:

– Kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet and attached to a human, Picked up after by you.

– Not left unattended at any time for any reason.

– Not an annoyance to other campers, not aggressive, or noisy. Barking dogs will not be tolerated.

Common restricted breeds are American Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans, German Shepherds

Yes, but please note that campfire use may be restricted completely when fire danger is high. Fire wood bundles are available for purchase during open burning season.

No, and there are no plans to add them. Our sites have full hookups so there is no need for them here. We do keep a portable outhouse at the waterfront for guests to use.

There is no  maximum allowable stay.  Monthly is not available during peak season (Between Memorial & Labor Day weekends) Monthly stays are priced at $20 per day.  Any reservation exceeding 28 days will be at the monthly rate.

Each site in Cottonwood Cove will offer a level concrete parking surface with integrated Patio, the Patio will feature a premium 4-sided Picnic Table & Fire ring. 50A, 30A & 20A power choices at each site along with sewer & water. The sites are surrounded by grass and gravel surfaces, & each site features a light to help after dark.

The beach access is located across the road. Navigate to our “MAP” page where you can find a map that shows the route. Access to the waterfront is by foot traffic only, and guests are required to remain in the designated area. Adjacent private properties are off limits to Park guests. Violation of this policy will result in removal from the premises.

Cancellations may be requested at any time, but refunds will not be approved unless requested no later than 14 days prior to scheduled arrival date. Approved refunds for cancellations will be made in full (minus payment processing fees). Re-scheduling for a later date can be done at no charge. (Pending availability). No, the river is across the road from the campsites. There is a beach access that is available to park guests via foot traffic only.

YES! To begin please navigate to our homepage and enter your desired dates in the search box. A list of available sites in your selected date range will appear. Click the “BOOK” button on each site you wish to add and it is automatically added to your reservation.

Currently plans are in place to deploy WiFi for our guests, but our current infrastructure does not allow it.  Internet options in rural Idaho are very limited.

Campground Park Map

Site prices include up to 6 people per site and 2 licensed vehicles (including all trailer types). Please park both vehicles within your reserved site. When you book a stay with us on this website, the site you pick and reserve is the site you are required to occupy upon arrival. Extra vehicles are required to be parked in designated overflow areas. Parking/Driving in areas designated for grass is strictly prohibited.

For guests who may arrive outside of our usual business hours, your reserved site information will be available via email received at registration.  Arrival check-in is not required.

Special Features

Unique Camp Store (FUTURE)

Snacks, soda, souvenirs, gifts, camping supplies, firewood, ice (no tobacco or alcohol available) Store will be available by appointment only, or specified operating hours. This is projected to be completed after phase 2 expansion of the park.

Laundry Facility (FUTURE)

Coin-op Laundry facility for guests located behind C-Store.

Cornhole & Horseshoes (FUTURE)

Currently in the development stage of a picnic area with Gazebo, grassy area for cornhole and horsehoe pits.

Free WiFi (FUTURE)

We will have 2 wifi antennas in the Park and waterfront to cover our guests and thus allow you to remain “connected” via our network. WiFi is intended for email and general internet access. It is NOT intended for streaming services. You can find the password in your booking email.

Kayak/Pedal Boat Rentals

Kayaks and Pedal Boats will be available for Daily rentals projected 2024 season.

Pend Oreille River Access

We have access to waterfront for Fishing, Swimming or just lounging in the sun. Water access is located across the street and not attached to the Park. We have American Bald Eagles that frequently fish right out front.

Firewood Bundle

(1) Bundle of Firewood to be used in your campsite Fire pit.
